Forwards:
David Legwand (Center)

Despite missing 18 games with a broken collarbone, Legwand easily set career highs in goals, assists and points last year and probably would have topped 60 points...if he can stay healthy, his production should further increase into that 60 point range. Projection: 23 goals, 38 assists, 61 points.
Scott Hartnell (Left Wing)

Though he played in more games and took more shots, Hartnell's scoring dipped to 12 goals and 34 points...should be helped by a full season alongside Legwand, but remains a fringe fantasy player. Projection: 15 goals, 30 assists, 45 points.
Scott Walker (Center)

Missed 22 games due to injuries, but still hit 15 goals and was on pace for 45 points...as injury prone as they come, Walker won't play a full season and thus, won't top 50 points like he did three years ago. Projection: 21 goals, 21 assists, 42 points.
Defenseman:
Kimmo Timonen (Defense)

Even though he missed ten games due to a blood clot illness, Timonen still led team defenseman in scoring while hitting 40 points for the second straight year...underrated because of the team he plays for, you could do a lot worse than 40 points from a defenseman. Projection: 9 goals, 33 assists, 42 points.
Goalies:
Tomas Vokoun (Goalie)

Grabbed the #1 position after Mike Dunham got traded and never looked back en route to a fantastic season almost topped by leading the Preds to the promise land...figures to be a workhorse again this season due to the lack of an established backup, Vokoun could wear out as the season progresses. Projection: 28 wins, 2.41 GAA, .913 SV%.
Big Year Alert: David Legwand. He's the best offensive weapon the Predators have and he'll have to play like it this year if the team has any chance of making the playoffs.
Don't draft: Jan Lasak. The Predators' backup goalie could be a starter in the NHL in 5-10 years, but he won't see more than 10 games playing behind the durable Tomas Vokoun.
Keep your eye on: Tomas Vokoun. The Preds' coaching staff loves to play Vokoun until he almost falls dead and Vokoun seems to relish it. But unlike Martin Brodeur, Vokoun will be facing a lot of rubber and it could come back to haunt him late in the year.
Injury risks: Scott Walker (major), David Legwand (moderate), Andreas Johansson (moderate).
